1. Carolyn Fidgen, Hunter's Glen PS (Grade 6)
Students were given a problem to solve in groups. During the gallery walk, students walked around to look at all the different solutions. They were then given sticky notes to write down feedback for each other. The sticky notes were placed on the posters students created of their solution. After this was done, groups were given time to review the feedback they received and make any changes to their solution, if necessary. Carolyn explicitly taught students the difference between good feedback and 'I like your work.." statements.
